Our faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), One Bread Foundation, Inc. is a registered California Public Benefit Corporation and 501 (c)3. 

Our Governing Board serves without any compensation or monetary benefit.

Here is a brief introduction to our currently appointed and/or elected Board Members and Corporate Officers who donate their time and talents to further our Cause.


DAVID P. BERNAL
Chairman & CEO, California

One Bread Foundation, Inc. Board Member since 2015

David is the managing partner for KLR Associates, LLC, a nationwide real estate investment firm involved with real estate investment opportunities, property management and land development. 

Previously, David spent 11 years as technical director at Pacific Bell. His previous titles include director of engineering, senior vice president and managing director. David received his Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University, pursued graduate studies in public administration at Long Beach State University and completed law school at Western State University College of Law in Fullerton.


Jerry Mussack
Chief Information officer, California

One Bread Foundation, Inc. Board Member since 2023

Jerry is an experienced information technology professional with a diverse background that includes teaching, coaching, consulting, and executive leadership. He has worked in many industries and currently serves as the head of IT for a series C SaaS startup. 

In addition to his business career, Jerry has volunteered his time and expertise to serve on church and school boards. Jerry earned his bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and his Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. 

Jerry is proud to bring his extensive experience and dedication to One Bread Foundation to help fulfill the call to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 31:8). 


Chris Schott
Corporate Treasurer, California

One Bread Foundation, Inc. Board Member since 2022

Chris Schott is an experienced finance professional and Catholic who is passionate in serving God and giving back to the community in any way he can.  

Currently, Chris is a Senior Project Finance Analyst at an engineering firm where he oversees project budgets that are driven by capital investments.  With over 7+ years of experience in corporate finance and project finance, he's developed key competencies in maintaining highly complex budget timelines, long-range planning, and financial modeling.  

In the near future, he plans on pursuing his Juris Doctorate with an emphasis on either Sports & Entertainment Law, or Intellectual property Law.
